New books on social movements - chapters online
The intro, theory and conclusion chapters from Understanding European movements, put together by the Council for European Studies' social movements research network, are now available on the Maynooth site. So are three chapters from Marxism and social movements - again the intro, a theory chapter and a chapter on rethinking social movements. This second book is the product of discussions between 70 scholars and activists in the field. Both come out in paperback next year.
